Stolen goat cycling apparel, manufactured by Bioracer, has been specifically made to the highest quality to maximise your performance! We cannot guarantee that your stolen goat clothing will last forever but if you follow these guidelines, it will help maximise your product's performance and life span.
We have written this really handy guide with Epic Road Rides about how to care for your kit so there is some really useful guidance here.
Some general instructions to follow when washing:
- Always read the care label before washing a piece of clothing
- Zip closed all zips and turn garment inside out
- Hand-wash or machine wash at a tepid temperature on a delicate/ sports wash cycle. (30°C)
- Use a small amount of liquid detergent, no powder detergents or any product that contains fabric softeners, conditioners, stain removers or bleaches as these will affect garment performance and life span.
- Hang dry – Do not tumble dry (why would you need to? our products are quick drying)
Our Orkaan collection and our Climb and Conquer jackets are made from waterproof materials and are not coated with a waterproof coating afterward like most brands do. This ensures we have maximum waterproofing protection and that it lasts a lot longer than any other product on the market.
If your Orkaan kit appears to be loosing water resistance - try tumble drying at a low heat next time you wash it. This works to reactivate the water resistance within the fabric.
Climb & Conquer kit and rain capes should not lose their waterproofing. Both of these do not have taped seams in order to maintain some breathability, so in prolonged, heavy rain, water may start to penetrate here. If you think water is penetrating the actual fabric itself, please do get in touch.
